Research progress of FOXO3 transcription factor in regulating of osteoarthritis

  • 摘要: 骨关节炎是一种以软骨退化、滑膜炎症和软骨下骨重塑为特征的退行性关节疾病。FOXO3转录因子在多种细胞过程中起关键作用,包括细胞凋亡、自噬和抗氧化应激反应。本文综述了FOXO3在骨关节炎病理进程中的作用机制及其作为潜在治疗靶点的情况,探讨FOXO3功能对开发新型干预措施、延缓骨关节炎进展及提高患者生活质量的意义。

     

    Abstract: Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease characterized by cartilage degradation, synovial inflammation and subchondral bone remodeling. The FOXO3 transcription factor plays critical role in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, autophagy and antioxidant stress responses. This article reviewed the mechanisms of FOXO3 in the pathological progression of osteoarthritis and its condition as potential therapeutic target, exploring the significance of FOXO3 function for developing novel interventions to delay osteoarthritis progression and improve quality of life of patients.
