Research progress on auditory-speech rehabilitation in children after cochlear implantation

  • This review elucidated the key influencing factors affecting the auditory-speech rehabilitation outcomes in children after cochlear implantation, encompassing individual factors, post-operative related factors, and psychosocial factors. Meanwhile, it focused on evaluating current evidence-based multidimensional intervention strategies, such as music therapy, a collaborative model of family empowerment and inclusive education, and digital medical technologies, to achieve individualized and precise rehabilitation management. This article aimed to provide theoretical foundations and practical references for the clinical formulation of stratified, dynamic, and integrated auditory-speech rehabilitation pathways, thereby maximizing the language development potential and quality of life in children with cochlear implants.
