Abstract:
Objective To compare the clinical significance of combined detection of serum carcino-embryonic antigen (CEA),carbohydrate antigens (CA19-9,CA50 and CA72-4)in the di-agnosis of patients with gastric cancer. Methods The levels of serum CEA,CA19-9,CA50 and CA72-4 in patients with gastric cancer (gastric group,n =38),gastritis (gastritis group,n =34) and gastric ulcer (gastric ulcer group,n =37)as well as healthy people (control group,n =36) were detected respectively. Results The levels of sensitivity of CEA,CA19-9,CA50 and CA72-4 were 49.7%,54.1%,38.2% and 41.7% respectively, while the level of sensitivity of combined detection was 79.6%.Conclusion Combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,CA50 and CA72-4 shows a great clinical significance in the diagnosis and efficacy observation of patients with gastric cancer.
