Abstract:
Objective To explore the clinical effect of metadoxine combined with polyene phosphatidyl choline on the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver disease (ALD).Methods 70 patients with ALD were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,35 cases in each group. On the basis of conventional therapy in both groups, the control group was treated with polyene phosphatidyl choline and treatment group was treated with metadoxine tablet combined with polyene phosphatidyl choline.Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase (AST),total bilirubin (TBil),glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT),alkaline phosphatase (ALP)and conjugative bilirubin (DBil)before and after treatment were observed in both groups, and changes of clinical symptoms and physical signs were recorded, color ultrasound of liver was conducted and clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results 4 weeks after treatment, clinical efficacy in treatment group was significantly higher than control group.Every index of liver function in both groups decreased significantly, and the indexes in the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group.Improvements of mild, moderate and severe fatty liver in the treatment group were signifi-cantly better than those in the control group. Conclusion Metadoxine combined with polyene phosphatidyl choline is more effective than single polyene phosphatidyl choline in treating ALD.
