Abstract:
Objective o investigate effect of complications of nasal feeding in patients with particularly severe brain trauma. Methods 60 particularly severe brain trauma patients were divid-ed into observation group and control group with 30 patients in each group. The patients in the ob-servation group were given preventive nursing measures, while the patients in the control group were given conventional nursing. The incidence of complications, nutritional status and satisfaction of two groups were compared. Results The difference was statistically significant since incidence rate of complications of nasal feeding in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P <0.05).The difference was statistically significant since The nutritional sta-tus of the observation was better than that of the control group(P <0.05).The difference was sta-tistically significant since the satisfaction rate of the observation group was obviously higher than that of the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion The preventive nursing measures can greatly re-duce incidence rate of complications in particularly severe brain trauma patients, improve patients′malnutrition and significantly increase the satisfaction rate,so it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
