Abstract:
Objective To compare the clinical effect between transaxillary minithoracotomy and posterolateral thoracotomy for radical resection of lung cancer. Methods 123 patients with lung cancer were divided into observation group and control group. The observation group was given transaxillary minithoracotomy, and control group was given traditional posterolateral thoracotomy. The length of incision, operation time, volume of blood lose during operation, postoperative index (bed stay, hospital stay, pain intensity score, prognosis and complications)of two groups were recorded. Results There were significant differences in length of incision, volume of blood lose during operation, postoperative bed stay, postoperative hospital stay, score of postoperative pain de-gree between two groups(P <0.05).The complications rate of observation group (7.69%)was lower than that of control group (15.51%),the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). There were no significant differences in prognosis of the two groups in 6 months after surgery (P >0.05).Conclusion Transaxillary minithoracotomy for radical resection of lung cancer has good clinical effect, minor injury and pain, fast recovery and less complications,so it was worthy of being application.
