Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of bicyclol combined with adefovir dipivoxil on the treatment of the patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB).Methods 120 CHB patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with adefovir dipivoxil capsules, while the observation group was treated with adefovir dipivoxil capsules combined with bicyclol tablets. The positive rates of HBeAg and HBV-DNA before the treatment and at 48th week after the treatment were compared between two groups, and the serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT)level before the treatment and at 4th, 24th,48th week after the treatment was compared as well. Results ALT level in both groups at different time points were significantly lower than those before the treatment (P <0.05),and the ALT levels at the different time points in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P <0.05).At 48th week after the treatment, the positive rates of HBV-DNA and HBeAg in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion Application of bicyclol combined with adefovir dipivoxil can significantly inhibit the proliferation of HBV,protect the liver cells and reduce the damages of CHB to the liver function.
