Abstract:
Objective To explore the clinical effect of l-carnitine on pedeatric rotavirus en-teritis combined with myocardial damage. Methods 61 patients with pedeatric rotavirus enteritis combined with myocardial damage were randomly divided into treatment group (31 cases)and con-trol group (30 cases). Both groups were given routine treatment.Based on this, control group was treated with vitamin C and energy mixture while treatment group was treated with L-carnitine oral solution,14 days, respectively.Cardiac enzymes,ECG and treatment efficiency were observed.Re-sults Myocardial enzyme levels in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the treatment group was lower than control group (P <0.05),and the ECG recovery rates in treatment group (91.6%)was higher than that in control group (83.3%)(P >0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group(96.8%)was obviously higher than that of the control group (73.3%) (P <0.05).Conclusion L-carnitine in treatment of infant rotavirus enteritis combined with the myocardial damage is effective, which is worthy of clinical popularization.
