Abstract:
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of surgery combined Chinese medicine decoction in the treatment of distal radius fractures.
Methods A total of 90 patients with distal radius fractures admitted to hospital were divided into control group and observation group according to the principle of random table method. The control group(n=45) was treated with surgery alone, and the observation group(n=45) was treated with surgery combined with traditional Chinese medicinal decoction. The clinical efficacy of two methods was compared.
Results The pain disappearance time, postoperative swell-reliving time and fracture healing time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The excellent rate of wrist joint was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Pre-rotation degree, supination degree, degree of radial skewness, palmar flexion and dorsal extension degrees were greater than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The pain scores at different time points after treatment in observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion For the treatment of distal radius fracture, self-made traditional Chinese medicinal decoction combined with surgery can improve the joint function and promote the early healing of the fracture.
