Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of hyperbaric oxygen combined with Danshen Injection on hemorheology, pulsatility index and cognitive function in patients with vascular dementia.
Methods A total of 90 vascular dementia patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen combined with conventional drug treatment, while the observation group was treated with Danshen Injection on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects, hemorheological index, PI index, cognitive function, life function and quantitative electroencephalogram improvement of the two groups were observed.
Results The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05); after treatment, the plasma viscosity, whole blood high shear viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation index in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05); after treatment, the PI indexes of basilar artery(BA), vertebral artery(VA), anterior cerebral arteries(MCA), anterior cerebral artery(ACA), posterior cerebral artery(PCA) in the observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05); after treatment, the scores of mini-mental state examination(MMSE), Activity of Daily Life (ADL) and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05); after treatment, the relative power value of α spectrum, θ spectrum, and δ spectrum in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen combined with Danshen Injection has significant effects for vascular dementia patients, which can effectively improve the level of hematological and PI indexes, and enhance the cognitive function.
