Abstract:
Objective To explore the application of platelet-rich plasma combined with Bio-Oss bone powder and Haiao biofilm in oral implant regeneration in diabetic patients.
Methods A total of 80 diabetic patients with implant bone regeneration in our hospital were selected as study subjects, and were divided into control group and combined group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with Bio-Oss bone powder and Haiao biofilm, and those in the combined group were treated with platelet-rich plasma combined with Bio-Oss bone powder and Haiao biofilm. The clinical efficacy, bone defect regeneration and complications of the two groups were compared and analyzed.
Results The total effective rate of the combined group was 97.50%, which was significantly higher than 77.50% of the control group(
P<0.05). The bleeding index, the depth of exploration, the loss of attachment, the height of bone graft and the thickness of osteogenesis were(0.36±0.08),(3.29±0.33)mm,(3.00±0.30)mm,(2.69±0.27)mm,(2.57±0.26)mm, respectively, in the combined group, which were significantly higher than those in the control group(
P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the combined group was significantly lower than that in the control group(5.00% vs. 27.50%,
P<0.05).
Conclusion The application of platelet-rich plasma combined with Bio-Oss bone powder and Haiao biofilm in the treatment of dental implant bone regeneration in diabetic patients has a significant effect, which can significantly improve the bone defect regeneration, and reduce the incidence of complications.
