Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of Bakri hemostasis balloon and gauze uterus filling on postpartum hemostasis and complications.
Methods A total of 72 patients were retrospectively analyzed, among whom 35 cases received Bakri balloon compression were in balloon group, 37 cases received gauze uterine cavity filling were filling group. The operation time, 24 h postpartum hemorrhage volume, hemostasis success rate, hemostasis time and hospitalization time of the two groups were compared, and the occurrence of postpartum complications was recorded.
Results There was no significant differences in hospitalization time and hemostasis success rate between the two groups(
P>0.05). The operation time and successful hemostasis time in the balloon group were significantly shorter, and the incidence of complications was significnatly lower than those in the filling group(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Bakri hemostasis balloon and gauze uterus filling are effective postpartum hemostasis methods, but Bakri balloon can shorten operation time and hemostasis time, and reduce incidence of postpartum related complications.
