Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of intensive health management on blood pressure and quality of life in patients with hypertension.
Methods Totally 107 patients with hypertension were selected and conducted with intensive health management for one year. The blood pressure level and quality of life were compared before and after the implementation of intensive health management.
Results After implementation of intensive health management, the levels of systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)were significantly lower than those before implementation of intensive health management(
P<0.05), while the scores of psychology, society, environment, body and comprehensive score were significantly higher than those before implementation of intensive health management(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Intensive health management can control blood pressure level and improve quality of life in patients with hypertension.
