Abstract:
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT combined with MRI in patients with cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage.
Methods A total of 83 patients with suspected cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage were selected as study subjects. Clinical observation and comprehensive examination were used as the "gold standard" to compare the detection rate of CT and MRI, and sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of combined diagnosis of CT and MRI were calculated. Results Sixty-eight cases of cerebral infarction complicated with cerebral hemorrhage, 8 cases of cerebral hemorrhage alone and 7 cases of cerebral infarction were confirmed by gold standard. CT examinations confirmed 49 cases of cerebral infarction complicated with cerebral hemorrhage, and 11 cases of simple cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 72.06%, 73.33% and 72.29%, respectively. MRI examination confirmed 53 cases of cerebral infarction complicated with cerebral hemorrhage, and 12 cases of simple cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 77.94%, 80.00% and 78.31%, respectively. The diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy of CT combined with MRI were 94.12% and 91.57%, respectively, which were significantly higher than that of single detection of CT or MRI(
P<0.05); the diagnostic specificity of CT combined with MRI was 80.00%, and the difference was not statistically significant compared with single detection of CT or MRI(
P>0.05).
Conclusion Multi-slice spiral CT combined with MRI has higher sensitivity and accuracy in - the diagnosis of cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage, which can provide basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
