Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of WeChat platform in the self-management of patients undergoing hip replacement.
Methods Sixty patients were randomly divided into experimental group(
n=30)and control group(
n=30). The effects of rehabilitation at home at the time of discharge and 1 month, 3 and 6 months after operation were compared between the two groups.
Results At 1month, 3 and 6 months after the operation, the scores of self-management ability, hip joint function score and daily life activity ability of the two groups were all higher than those before the intervention, and the self-management ability of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(
P< 0.05). At 1 month and 3 months after surgery, hip joint function of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(
P< 0.05). At 3 months after the operation, the daily activity ability of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(
P< 0.05).
Conclusion The self-management mode of WeChat platform can improve the rehabilitation effect of hip replacement patients at home and improve their quality of life.
