Abstract:
Malnutrition is a common complication of liver cirrhosis and is closely related to poor prognosis. Currently, multiple methods can be used to evaluate the nutritional status of patients with liver cirrhosis, but there is still a lack of uniform standards. This article reviewed the research progress of nutritional status assessment in patients with liver cirrhosis from the causes of malnutrition in liver cirrhosis, nutritional risk screening tools, and commonly used nutritional assessment methods, to provide theoretical basis for accurate evaluation of nutritional status of patients with liver cirrhosis and guidance of nutritional intervention.
