Abstract:
Objective To observe the effects of Xiaoer Liuwei Zengshi Gao on serum leptin (Leptin), neuropeptide Y (NPY) and ghrelin (Ghrelin) in the treatment of anorexia children with dietary stagnation.
Methods A total of 72 children with anorexia were selected as study objects, and were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. All children received dietary and exercise guidance during the treatment period, the control group was additionally treated with Zinc Gluconate Oral Solution, and the observation group was treated with Xiaoer Liuwei Zengshi Gao combined with Zinc Gluconate Oral Solution. Before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were evaluated, the time of symptom relief and adverse reactions during treatment were recorded, and the levels of serum related factors (Leptin, NPY and Ghrelin) were detected.
Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the syndrome score of each item and total score of the observation group were lower than the control group (P < 0.05); the abdominal pain, bloating and constipation relief time of the observation group were shorter than the control group (P < 0.05); at 4 weeks of treatment, the serum Leptin level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the levels of NPY and Ghrelin were higher than the control group (P < 0.05); there were no adverse reactions occurred during treatment.
Conclusion Xiaoer Liuwei Zengshi Gao in the treatment of anorexia children with dietary stagnation is more conducive to the relief of symptoms and improvement of related serum indicators of children. Besides, no adverse reactions occur during treatment, and it has higher safety and application value.
