Abstract:
Objective To analyze the related factors of elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated with weakness.
Methods A total of 145 elderly patients with CHD were prospectively selected as research subjects, the weakness conditions of all patients were assessed at admission, and the patients were divided into combined weakness group and the non-combined weakness group according to their weakness conditions. The baseline data adjustment table was designed, the data of the two groups was counted in details. Univariate and multivariate analysis were used to find out the influencing factors of elderly patients with CHD complicated with weakness.
Results Among 145 elderly patients with CHD, 49 cases were combined with weakness, accounting for 33.79%; education level, nutritional status, fall history in one year and anxiety status between the combined weakness group and the non-combined weakness group showed significant differences(P < 0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in other data between the two groups (P>0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that low level of education, malnutrition, anxiety and falling history in one year were the risk factors of elderly patients with CHD complicated with weakness (OR>1, P < 0.05).
Conclusion Elderly patients with CHD have a higher risk of weakness, which may be related to low education level, malnutrition, anxiety and fall history in one year.
