Effect of photon therapy combined with lower limb elevation on recovery of vessel-selected lower limbs in patients with coronary artery bypass grafting

    Abstract:
Objective  To investigate the effect of photon therapy combined with lower limbs elevating for 30 °on the recovery of vessel-selected lower limbs in patients with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
Methods  A total of 90 patients with vessel selection in lower limbs after CABG were randomly divided into observation group (n=44, one case withdrew during research) and control group (n=45). The control group was treated with routine nursing methods, and the observation group was treated with photon therapy combined with lower limbs elevating for 30 °. The swelling degree, pain score, incision healing time and nursing satisfaction degree from the first day to the fifth day after operation were compared between the two groups.
Results  The swelling degree, pain score and incision healing time of vessel-selected lower limbs at 1, 3, 4, 5 d in the observation group were significantly lighter, lower and shorter than those in the control group, while the patient's satisfaction degree to nursing service was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion  Photon therapy combined with lower limb elevating for 30 °can alleviate the swelling degree of vessel-selected lower limbs in patients with CABG, reduce the incision pain, shorten incision healing time and enhance the quality of nursing service.
