Abstract:
Patients with consciousness disorders in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) without stimulation input for a long time will lead to slow recovery of consciousness, and the effective wake-promoting technology is the key to affect the early rehabilitation and long-term quality of life of patients. The paper reviewed the functional mechanism, implementation procedure, blocking factors and safeguard strategies of sensory stimulation in the wake-promoting technology of patients with consciousness disorders in ICU, and proposed that the implementation of family-centered sensory stimulation in ICU should pay attention to safety assessment, encouragement for family members' collaborative participation, standardization of family members' training support, construction of optimization schemes, and improvement of the safeguard mechanism.
