Abstract:
Type H hypertension is the hypertension with high homocysteine, and if it is accompanied by diabetes, the risk of cardiovascular events will increase. The prevalence of diabetes in obese and overweight people will further increase. The metabolism and distribution of body fat in an individual is not only reflected in body mass, but also in indicators such as body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), waist-to-height ratio (WHTR), and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), and these indexes can evaluate overweight and obesity. Compared with indicators mentioned above, lipid accumulation product (LAP) has a stronger advantage in accurately predicting diseases related to overweight and obesity. On the basis of related researches, this paper reviewed the related research progress on LAP and type H hypertension complicated with diabetes.
