Abstract:
In this report, the technique of labelling MPMS with 99m1Tc as Pertechretate in the pres-ence of a reducing agent as SnCl2 was described. The distribution of intravenously injected 99mTc - labelledMPMS in rabbits at different intervals of magnetic field applied and different magnetic field intensity wasinvestigated by using an externally applied magnetic field and measuring the radio - activity at the rabbithead and other organs. When magnet was used, the radio - activity in the head (target site) was 15 timesmore than that when magnet was not used, as positive correlation between targetic radio - activity andtimes and intensity of magnetic field were described. So MPMS may be used in the therapy of cancer andcavernous hemangiomas.
