Research progress on relationship between upper airway morphological assessment and obstructive sleep apnea

  • 摘要: 上气道作为颅颌面重要解剖结构, 呈不规则的管腔状结构,由不同的软组织和硬组织组成。上气道形态与阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停密切相关,本文从上气道的解剖学分区、评估工具与方法、测量与评估内容、上气道形态影响因素等4个方面对二者关系展开综述。

     

    Abstract: As an important anatomical structure of craniomaxillofacial region, the upper airway presents an irregular lumen structure, which is composed of different soft and hard tissues. The morphology of upper airway is closely related to obstructive sleep apnea. This paper reviewed the relationship between morphology of upper airway and obstructive sleep apnea from the following four aspects of anatomical division of upper airway, evaluation tools and methods, measurement and evaluation contents, and influencing factors of upper airway morphology.
