Influence of evidence-based nursing on adverse reaction and life quality of patients with gastric cancer during chemotherapy

Objective To explore the application effect of evidence-based on patients with gastric cancer during chemotherapy.Methods 70 gastric cancer patients during chemotherapy were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The control group was received routine nursing while the observation group was given evidence-based nursing based on the treat-ment of the control group.Chemotherapy effect,toxicity and life quality were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 68.6% which was significantly higher than 40% in the control group.Toxicity reaction in Ⅰ~Ⅱ grade was signifi-cantly higher than that in the control group .So the difference was statistical significant (P <0.05).The life quality in overall health,physical function and body pain in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,so the difference was statistical significant (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion The evidence-based nursing can settle the practical problems of chemotherapy patients with gastric cancer.Thus,the targeted nursing could reduce the adverse re-action and improve quality of life of patients during chemotherapy.
