Effect of stellate ganglion block on hormone level in rats with breast hyperplasia
Objective To further explore the function mechanism of stellate ganglion block (SGB)on hormone level in rats with breast hyperplasia.Methods A total of 40 female rats were divided into four groups randomly:blank control group,model group (with breast hyperplasia), treatment group (with Rubixiao)and combined group (Rupixiao combined with SGB).The diame-ter of breast,the height of papilla,the levels of estradiol (E2 ),progesterone (P)and prolactin (PRL)were compared between two groups.Results The difference was significant in the de-creased level of E2 and PRL as well as increased P level between combined group and treatment group (P <0.05).Conclusion In the intervention of rats with breast hyperplasia,combined appli-cation of SGB can effectively regulate the hormone level and reduce the diameter of breast and the height of papilla so as to achieve more superior efficacy.
