Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of high quality nursing service on the negative emotions and self-awareness health behavior of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)so as to accumulate experience for nursing ward in the department of respiration.Methods 43 patients with COPD treated by routine nursing mode were divided into control group and 40 COPD patients in research group were treated by high quality nursing.Zung-self rating Anxiety Scale (SDS),Zung self rating Depression Scale (SAS)and Efficacy Scale of Self-awareness Health Behavior were used in the fifth day before and after the intervention.Data were recorded and sta-tistical analyzed.Results The difference was not statistically significant in SAS,SDS or Efficacy Scale of Self-awareness Health Behavior before intervention in the two groups (P >0.05).The difference was statistically significant since SAS and SDS score in research group were remarkable lower(P <0.05).The difference was not statistically significant in self-awareness health behavior of two groups before intervention(P >0.05).The score of self-awareness health behavior in re-search group was higher than that in the control group after intervention (P <0.05).Conclusion Compared with the traditional nursing mode,high quality nursing service can effectively reduce the anxiety and depression of patients and improve the self-awareness health behavior ,so it is worthy of further promotion.
