Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of tanshinone ⅡA sodium injection combined with routine therapies of western medicine on patients with pulmonary heart disease-in-duced heart failure (PHDHF).Methods Fifty-six patients with PHDHF treated with tanshinone injection combined with routine therapies of western medicine were selected as treatment group while 30 patients with same disease given single routine western medicine served as control group. Clinical efficacy and improvement of effect and blood gas analysis indications were explored. Results There was no significant difference in clinical efficacy between two groups.Cough, asthma, swelling, cyanosis, palpitation and abundant phlegm, etc, were improved obviously after treatment in both group,in which the improvement rate of cough was higher in treatment group than in con-trol group (P <0.05).Lung capacity and blood oxygen concentration increased apparently in both groups (P <0.01)and were evidently higher in treatment group (P <0.05),whereas blood carbon dioxide concentration decreased markedly (P <0.01)and was significantly lower in treatment group than in control group (P <0.01).Conclusion Integrated Chinese and western medicine are more effective in treating PHDHF than routine therapies of single western medicine in evidently promot-ing the clinical efficacy and pulmonary function.
