Cord blood stem cell transplantation combined with traditional Chinese therapy for kidney nourishing and dampness elimination in treatment of patients with Child A or B grade liver cirrhosis

  • Obj ective To observer the clinical effects of cord blood stem cell transplantation combined with traditional Chinese therapy for kidney nourishing and dampness elimination in treat-ment of patients with child A or B grade liver cirrhosis,and related mechanism.Methods 50 pa-tients with child A or B grade liver cirrhosis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 25 cases in each group.Cord blood stem cell transplantation were performed in both of two groups and Chinese therapy for kidney nourishing and dampness elimination was provided to treatment group additionally.Biomedical index of liver function,erythrocyte immune and observed before and 3,6,12 months after surgery.Inflammation and fibrosis score before and 12 months af-ter surgery were also observed.Results Index levels mentioned above were improved after treat-ment compared with those before treatment,and there was significant difference between treatment and controls group (P<0.05,P<0.01 ).Conclusion Combination therapy of transplantation with traditional Chinese therapy can achieve better clinical outcome.
