Application of improved colon dialysis in the male elderly patients with leakage problems

ABSTRACT:Objective To investigate the application of improved colon dialysis in male el-derly patients with leakage problems.Methods A total of 14 elderly patients under the treatment of colon dialysis in our hospital were randomly divided into experimental group and control group ac-cording to the admission time.7 patients in the control group used routine colon dialysis with 28 dialysis while the 7 patients in the experimental group used improved colon dialysis with 15 dialysis altogether.The leakage rates were compared between the two groups.Results The leakage rate of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05).Conclu-sion The improved colon dialysis can significantly reduce the incidence rate and enhance the com-forts of patients.
