Application of surgical nursing pathway coordination mode in laparoscopic esophageal hernia operation

  • Objective To analyze application effect of surgical nursing pathway coordination mode in laparoscopic repair of esophageal hernia. Methods A total of 100 patients with laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 50 patients per group. The control group was given routine nursing pathway and the observation group was given surgical nursing pathway coordination mode. The differences in operation time, incidence of adverse events and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of from the operating room to beginning of operation, skin incision to end of skin closure, dressing pasting to operating room were (15.5 ± 2.1) and (36.8 ± 2.5) and (7.6 ± 0.5) min, respectively, which were significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05).The total incidence of nursing adverse events was 4%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05).Nursing satisfaction of observation group was 98% (49/50),which was significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Nursing pathway for laparoscopic esophageal hiatal hernia repair surgery can shorten operation time, reduce the incidence of intraoperative nursing adverse events, and improve nursing satisfaction,so it is worthy of further clinical application and promotion.
