Application of evidence-based nursing intervention in patients with tuberculous empyema

Abstract
Objective To study effect of evidence-based nursing intervention in patients with tuberculous empyema.Methods A total of 106 tuberculosis empyema patients in our hospital were studied and were divided into two groups according to clinical trials of random number method,with 53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine nursing and the observation group was given evidence-based nursing,efficacy,complications and nursing satisfaction were observed.Results After intervention,the effective rate in observation group was 88.68%,which was significantly higher than 64.15% in the control group (P < 0.05).Compliance behavior in correct medication,diet and exercise and regular follow-up in the observation group after intervention was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05).Overall satisfaction of patients was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based nursing intervention in tuberculous empyema patients can improve medication compliance and nursing satisfaction,so it is worthy of clinical use.
