Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of whole course nursing intervention by professional nursing group for patients with permanent intestinal stoma.Methods A total of 152 rectal cancer patients with permanent colostomy were divided into observation group (83 cases) and control group (69 cases) according to postoperative nursing.The former received whole course nursing by professional team,and the latter received routine nursing intervention,nursing effect of two groups were compared.Results The satisfaction of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P < 0.05).Observation group had higher self nursing ability of self-care skills,self responsibility,self concept,and health knowledge level scores and total scores than the control group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of stoma stenosis between the two groups at discharge and 1 month after discharge (P > 0.05).At 3 months after discharge,the incidence of stoma stenosis in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion The effect of whole nursing intervention by professional group for permanent intestinal stoma patients is obvious,which has the advantages of better nursing satisfaction,strong self care ability and low incidence of complications.
