Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effects of the add-substract liujunzi decoction on alleviating adverse reaction and improving immunity system during the postoperative chemotherapy for gastric cancer. Methods The 64 hospitalized patients were randomly divided into experiment group and control group,32 cases in each group. Both groups were given OLF regimen chemotherapy and the experiment group was given the extra add-substract liujunzi decoction.Twenty one days were considered as a treatment cycle. After two cycles, the curative effect was evaluated. The adverse reactions, quality of life and the immune function were compared. Results Compared with the experiment group, the control group showed more serious nausea and vomiting, the loss of appetite and bone marrow inhibition degree (P < 0.05).The score of life quality in control group decreased significantly after chemotherapy. After two cycles, the life quality of the experiment group was significantly better than the control group (P <0.05).After the chemotherapy, the CD3 +,CD4 +,CD8 +,CD4 +/CDs + and NK cell activity of control group were significantly lower than those before treatment. After two cycles, all immune function indexes of the experimental group were better than those of the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion The add-substract liujunzi decoction for the postoperative gastric cancer patients can reduce the adverse reaction, improve the immune function and improve the quality of life.
