Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of pranoprofen combined with fluorometholone on the prevention and treatment of corneal irritation and Haze after laser assisted subepithelial keratomileusis (LASEK).Methods A total of 1 10 patients (220 eyes) with LASEK for treatment of myopia were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,55 cases (110 eyes) in each group.Control group was treated with single fluorometholone eye drops,on which basis observation group was added with pranoprofen after operation. The postoperative vision recovery and the occurrence of corneal irritation and Haze were observed in both groups. Results The postoperative vision recovery was equivalent in two groups (P > 0.05).Observation group was evidently milder in corneal irritation after postoperative 1 ~ 3 d than control group (P < 0.05),and was prominently lower in the occurrence severity of Haze in class 0.5 and 1 in different postoperative periods (P <0.05 or P < 0.01).Conclusion Pranoprofen combined with fluorometholone can relieve early corneal irritation and control the occurrence of Haze after LASEK.
