Effect of clinical nursing pathway on prevention of complications and nursing efficacy in cirrhosis patients with gastrointestinal bleeding

  • Objective To investigate effect of clinical nursing pathway on prevention of complications and nursing efficacy in cirrhosis patients with gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods A total of 90 liver cirrhosis patients with gastrointestinal bleeding in our hospital were divided into two groups according to random number table method,and the control group with 45 patients was treated with common treatment,and the observation group were given clinical nursing pathway,the clinical efficacy,satisfaction,morbidity and length of hospital stay,hospital costs.Results After treatment,the total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group.After treatment,satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05),incidence of complications such as gastrointestinal bleeding,secondary infection and hepatic encephalopathy were lower than the control group (P < 0.05).The observation group had shorter bleeding time,lower hospitalization costs,and higher knowledge level than that in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Effect of clinical nursing pathway in cirrhotic patients with gastrointestinal bleeding is remarkable,it can improve treatment satisfaction,and effectively reduce the incidence of complications.
