Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of evidence-based nursing on postoperative nausea and vomiting in patients with thyroid operation. Methods A total of 76 patients with thyroid surgery were divided into 2 groups. The control group was given routine care, while the observation group was given evidence-based nursing. The incidence rates of nausea, vomiting and satisfaction degree were compared. Results In the control group, the incidence rates of nausea and vomiting were 44.74% and 34.21%,which were significantly higher than 15.79% and 13.16% in the observation group (P < 0.05).In the control group, the scores of nursing attitude and skills, professional knowledge, the total satisfaction rate of nursing errors were significantly worse than the observation group (P < 0.05).In the control group, the IL-6,COR,VAS after nursing significantly decreased (P < 0.05),and SAS had no change (P > 0.05).Mter nursing in the observation group, the VAS,SAS score decreased significantly (P < 0.05),and IL-6,COR had no change (P > 0.05).IL-6,COR,VAS in observation group after nursing and SAS score were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based nursing can reduce the incidence rates of postoperative nausea and vomiting and improve the satisfaction degree of patients with thyroid surgery.
