Abstract
Objective To investigate clinical efficacy of predictive nursing in treatment of patients with transurethral resection of the prostate. Methods A total of 120 patients with transurethral resection of the prostate were selected and randomly divided into two groups,60 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given conventional nursing intervention, and patients in the observation group were given conventional nursing and predictive nursing intervention. The clinical outcomes and postoperative complications were compared. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P < 0.05).The operation time, postoperative bladder irrigation time, indwelling catheter time and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05).The incidence rate of complications such as shock, urinary active bleeding, urinary tract infection, urethral stricture, bladder neck contracture stenosis, urinary incontinence in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing intervention can significantly improve therapeutic effect of transurethral resection of the prostate, shorten operative time, postoperative bladder irrigation time, indwelling catheter time and hospitals stays, and significantly reduce the incidence rate of postoperative complications.
