Objective To explore the clinical effect of high quality nursing combined with predictive nursing on functional recovery and complications of elderly patients after bone fracture surgery.
Methods A total of 91 elderly patients with hip fracture in our hospital were randomly divided into control group (n=46) and experimental group (n=45). The control group was given routine nursing, while the experimental group was given high quality nursing combined with predictive nursing on the basis of the control group.
Results The excellent rate of hip function recovery in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(84.44% vs. 56.52%, P < 0.05). The total score of daily living ability in the experimental group was also significantly better than that in the control group(19.45±4.12) vs. (12.98±7.07), P < 0.05. The experimental group had significantly lower incidence of complications than the control group(4.44% vs. 26.09%, P < 0.05).
Conclusion The high quality nursing combined with predictive nursing can not only effectively promote the functional recovery of elderly patients after fracture surgery, but also significantly reduce the occurrence of complications.
