Objective To explore the effect of preventive nursing for patients complicated with acute pancreatitis when undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).
Methods A total of 220 patients with ERCP in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group(n=110) and control group(n=110). The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while predictive care was carried out in the observation group based on the control group. The incidence of acute pancreatitis, hyperamylase and nursing satisfaction were compared.
Results The incidence of acute pancreatitis in the observation group was obviously lower than the control group(4.5% vs. 17.3%, P < 0.05); the incidence of hyperamylase in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(8.2% vs. 24.5%, P < 0.05). Observation group had significantly higher nursing satisfaction than the control group(88.2% vs. 70.9%, P < 0.05).
Conclusion Predictive nursing after ERCP can reduce the incidences of postoperative acute pancreatitis and hyperamylase, and improve patients' nursing satisfaction.
