Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing measures in the treatment of patients with fundus diseases by argon laser retinal photocoagulation.
Methods A total of 124 patients with fundus diseases who underwent argon laser photocoagulation in our hospital were randomly divided into control group (62 cases) and research group (62 cases). The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the research group was additionally given comprehensive nursing intervention. The changes of visual acuity and quality of life after 2 months of treatment were observed, the incidences of edema, exudation and hemorrhage were compared between the two groups.
Results After treatment, the visual indexes of the study group were higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05), and the incidences of exudation, edema and hemorrhage in the study group were lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of psychological function, physical function and social function in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Comprehensive nursing measures have significant effect in patients with fundus diseases treated by argon laser retinal photocoagulation.
