Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of laser hemorrhoidoplasty (LHP) combined with surrounded suture and suspension in the treatment of patients with Ⅱ to Ⅳ stage of internal hemorrhoids.
Methods Totally 64 patients with Ⅱ to Ⅳ stage of internal hemorrhoids were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 32 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with LHP combined with surrounded suture and suspension, while the control group was treated with traditional ligation for internal hemorrhoids.
Results There was no significant difference in the overall efficacy between the two groups, but the healing time, pain and postoperative complications in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion For patients with II to IV stage of internal hemorrhoids, the LHP combined with surrounded ligation and suspension has a significant efficiency, which can shorten the course of treatment, alleviate the painof patients and reduce the incidence rate of complications.
