Influence of Longxue Tongluo Capsule combinedwith Shugan Jieyu Capsule on quality of life and motor aphasia in patients with cerebral infarction in recorery stage

  Objective  To investigate the effect of Longxue Tongluo Capsule combined with Shugan Jieyu Capsule on the treatment of patients with cerebral infarction in convalescent stage.

  Methods  A total of 68 patients with convalescent cerebral infarction were randomly divided into observation group (n=34) and control group (n=34). The control group was treated with acupuncture, while the observation group was treated with Longxue Tongluo Capsule and Shugan Jieyu Capsule on the basis of control group. The scores of short-form 36 items health scale (SF-36) and Chinese Aphasia test (ABC) were compared between the two groups.

  Results  After treatment, the SF-36 score and ABC score in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).

  Conclusion  For patients with convalescent cerebral infarction, Longxue Tongluo Capsule combined with Shugan Jieyu Capsule can improve the quality of life and alleviate the symptoms of motor aphasia.
