Study on process diabetes group nursing for diabetic patients

  •   Objective  To explore the effect of process diabetes group nursing for diabetic patients.
Methods  A total of 200 patients with diabetes who were treated in our hospital were selected as research objects. According to the random number table method, they were randomly divided into control group(n=100) and research group(n=100). The control group was given routine nursing, while the research group was given process diabetes group nursing. After three weeks, the cognitive level, blood glucose level and clinical nursing efficacy of two groups were compared.
Results  After three weeks, the cognitive levels such as attitude, the mastery of nursing methods, and the compliance of medication in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Before nursing, there were no significant differences in fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels between the two groups (P>0.05); after nursing, the blood glucose level of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the research group had lower levels of fasting blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood glucose (P < 0.05).
Conclusion  The process diabetes group nursing can effectively improve the cognitive level, reduce the blood glucose level, and improve patients′ satisfaction.
