  •   Objective  To investigate effect of Liqi Huatan Xiaozheng Decoction combined with anti-progestin drugs on prognosis of uterine fibroids patients.
      Methods  A total of 100 patients with uterine fibroids collected in our hospital were divided into control group (n=50) treated by mifepristone and observation group (n=50) given Liqi Huatan Xiaozheng Decoction combined with mifepristone. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.
      Results  After treatment, uterine volume and fibroid volume in the observation group were smaller, and TCM syndrome scores was lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of progesterone, estradiol, luteinizing hormone and follicle-forming hormone in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).
      Conclusion  Liqi Huatan Xiaozheng Decoction combined with mifepristone is effective in the treatment of uterine fibroids, and fibroid volume was shrunk greatly.
