Objective To explore the effect of diversified health education in patients with maintenance hemodialysis.
Methods Totally 110 patients with maintenance hemodialysis from January to June 2018 were selected as control group, and they were conduced with routine oral health education. Another 116 patients with maintenance hemodialysis from July to December 2018 were selected as observation group, given diversified health education. Incidence rate of adverse events caused by hemodialysis, rate of body mass increase reaching the standard during dialysis, awareness rate of health knowledge, and satisfaction to dialysis were compared between two groups.
Results The incidence rate of adverse events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05), while the rate of body mass increase reaching the standard during dialysis, awareness rate of health knowledge, and satisfaction degree to dialysis were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Diversified health education can effectively reduce the incidence rate of adverse events, and increase the rate of body mass increase reaching the standard during dialysis, awareness rate of health knowledge, and satisfaction degree to dialysis.
