Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of amiodarone on heart rate of patients with tachyarrhythmia in emergency department. Methods The clinical data of 86 patients with acute tachyarrhythmia in emergency department was analyzed retrospectively, and they were divided into two groups according to different drug administration method. The control group(n=43)was treated with deslanoside injection, and the study group(n=43)was treated with amiodarone injection. The changes of heart rate, the overall efficacy and the index of cardiac function and the adverse reactions of the two groups before and after treatment were analyzed. Results After treatment, the mean heart rate in the study group was significantly lower, the overall effective rate of tachyarrhythmia in the study group was significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05); the diameter of left ventricular end diastolic period in the study group was significantly smaller, and the left ventricular ejection fraction as well as the incidence of adverse reactions were significantly lower in the study group than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Amiodarone has significant efficacy and higher safety in the treatment of tachyarrhythmia. And it has outstanding advantages in correcting the heart function and heart rate of patients.
