Abstract
Objective To investigate the application value of transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound in increasing diagnostic accuracy rate of ectopic pregnancy. Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with ectopic pregnancy was retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound, separately. The diagnostic accuracy rate of ectopic pregnancy, detection rate of imaging characteristics, and the detection rate of different diameters of adnexal masses of single examination and combined examination were compared. Results The diagnostic accuracy rate, detection rate of embryo, cardiovascular pulse, intrauterine phantom pregnancy bursa, pelvic effusion and the diameter of adnexal mass ≤20 mm of transabdominal combined with transvaginal ultrasound were significantly higher than those of transabdominal or transvaginal ultrasound alone(P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the detection rate of adnexalmass diameter >20 mm among the three examination methods(P>0.05). Conclusion Transabdominal combined with transvaginal ultrasound diagnosis has higher diagnostic detection rate of ectopic pregnancy, which can clearly show the imaging characteristics of ectopic pregnancy and has higher detection rate of smaller diameter adnexal masses.
