  • Objective To explore the effect of prospective intervention on the postpartum recovery and complications in puerperas with cesarean section. Methods A total of 132 puerperas with cesarean section were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 66 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was treated with prospective nursing intervention. The recovery effect, incidence of complication, and scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results The length of hospital stay, time to bed-off activity and time to exhaustion in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05). The total incidence rate of postoperative complications was 4.54% in the observation group, which was significantly lower than 19.70% in the control group(P<0.05). The scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Prospective nursing intervention is beneficial to the recovery of puerperas, and it can reduce the incidence of complications.
