  •   Objective  To investigate the application effect of Kangfuxin liquid combined with self-efficacy intervention in fixed orthodontic operation of odontoplasty.
      Methods  A total of 100 orthodontic patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with gingival cleaning and routine oral health education, and the observation group was treated with Kangfuxin liquid and self-efficacy intervention. The plaque index (PLI), gingival index (GI) and the degree of enamel demineralization were observed in the two groups.
      Results  After 1month, 3, 6, 12, and 18 months of treatment, the PLI and GI of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, but observation group was significantly lower than control group (P < 0.05); after 12 months of treatment, the degree of enamel demineralization in the two groups was increased, but the observation group was significantly lighter than the control group(P < 0.05).
      Conclusion  Kangfuxin liquid combined with self-efficacy intervention can reduce the occurrence of complications such as plaque, gingival swelling and enamel demineralization in patients undergoing orthodontic surgery, and has a good intervention effect.
