Effect of Yiqi Huoxue Tongmai Decoction in the treatment of elderly patients with cerebral infarction complicated with deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities

  • Objective To observe the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Tongmai Decoction in the treatment of elderly patients with cerebral infarction complicated with deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities and its effect on coagulation function. Methods A total of 125 elderly patients with cerebral infarction complicated with deep venous thrombosis of the lower extremities were selected as research objects. They were divided into control group(n=62)and observation group(n=63)by random number method. The control group was given low molecular weight heparin sodium injection and air pressure type blood circulation driven pump, and the observation group was treated with Yiqi Huoxue Tongmai Decoction on the basis of the control group. Two weeks later, the clinical effects, coagulation function, re-canalization rate and occurrence of complications of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the clinical efficacy and re-canalization rate of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05). Partial thromboplastin time(APTT)of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the levels of thrombin time(TT), plasma fibrinogen(FIB)and D-dimer(D-D)were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). The complication rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Adjuvant therapy of Yiqi Huoxue Tongmai Decoction for elderly patients with cerebral infarction and DVT can improve the blood coagulation function and promote the re-canalization of blood vessels, improve the therapeutic effect and reduce the incidence of complications.
